Alessandro Massimi

I’ve been a photographer for as long as I can remember. What began as a natural drive and a deep passion for observing light and shadow grew, in 2010, into a solid profession. As an artist and professional photographer, I believe in the importance of capturing those fleeting moments that often go unnoticed, turning everyday scenes into lasting visual narratives.

My true calling is Still Life, a genre I favour for its ability to elevate matter and subject, but my expertise extends confidently to Fashion, Portraiture, Theatre photography and the Corporate world.

Master in Still Life

Analysis, management and absolute control of studio lighting. This path has strengthened my skills in bringing out the material, textures and geometry of the product, allowing me to translate brands’ commercial and communication needs into visual compositions of high precision and editorial elegance.

Master in Fashion Photography

A study of fashion’s visual language, set management and creative team direction. A specialisation focused on storytelling through the garment and editorial trends, where light interacts with movement, fabric and the stylistic intent of the project.

Master in Portrait Photography

An exploration of psychological, editorial and corporate portraiture (headshots). This path deepened my use of light and empathetic connection with the subject, refining my ability to capture the authenticity of a face, its expressiveness and a person’s true essence.

Visual Arts

My philosophy is rooted in a refined aesthetic and a technical versatility that lets me move freely between studio shoots for editorials and portfolios and theatrical reportage. I work closely with clients to ensure that every project, whether corporate or editorial, reflects their unique vision alongside my own stylistic signature.

Theatre & Performance

Capturing the tension and pure emotion of live performance. I document theatre shows, dance and live events, focusing on the constant dialogue between light, movement and dramatic intensity. The goal is to convey the atmosphere of the stage while preserving the magic of the unrepeatable moment.

Corporate & Branding

I enhance the visual identity of companies, professionals and brands. From team portraits (headshots) to corporate reportage, all the way to content for digital communication and social media, I create consistent, impactful images that tell the story of your professionalism and your business.

Personal Research

Visual exploration and artistic experimentation. This is my creative laboratory, where I challenge conventions, test new visual languages and turn the ordinary into evocative narratives. A place where technique serves pure visual expression, away from commercial logic.
